How to Play Floor Is Lava Season 5:
- The basis of the show is based on a kid’s game of the same name.
- In a chamber filled with 80,000 US gallons (66,614 gallons, 302,833 liters) of slick, bright red sludge that resembles boiling lava, participants must complete an obstacle course.
- In order to get to the exit without falling in, competitors must climb up and over things that are above the “lava”
- Three teams of three contestants attempt to complete the course in each episode.
- The team that successfully escapes the chamber with the greatest number of members, or, in the event of a tie, finishes the course in the quickest time, is declared the winner.
