We are pleased to inform you about the MTN Joyous Celebration Talent Search 2025-2026

Joyous Celebration is a South African Gospel choir that was formed in 1994 following the success of South Africa’s first democratic elections.
What was merely meant to be a one-time studio project by South African musicians turned into a massive platform for upcoming South African artists? The choir has enjoyed success in South Africa and the rest of the African continent, having released 23 albums as of 2019. It is one of South Africa’s most successful gospel choirs, following acts like The Soweto Gospel Choir.

Just imagine the doors that will open for you if you join this amazing group. This search is not only for the benefit of the group but for you too. It is aimed at grooming young talent and making dreams come true.

All kinds of unique vocalists from South Africa and beyond who are interested are invited to register. The first step which is pre-registration is to send an SMS or Whatsapp your details (Name, Surname, ID Number and Mobile Number) to 073 217 3717.

Auditions will be held in 3 of SA’s biggest cities, Johannesburg, Cape town and Durban.

Registration is currently open for Cape Town auditions until 31st May at 12h00.

The dates of the auditions are as follows :

Cape Town – 1 June
Johannesburg – 11 and 12 July
Durban – 2 and 3 August

      My name is Moeketsi (KEKE) Rammile and am an artist frankly am born & crew in Orlando East Soweto, so in the 80’s I was told that I use to disappear and they’d look everywhere for me, and later remember to go to YMCA Orlando and they’d find me there singing my lungs out with no proper speech and with both my hand on my head as I sing. With my pure white black label undies and nothing on top. Since then art has been tattooed in my soul by the heavens, for I can’t let go, no matter how much I try. I traveled the world with UMOJA in my 20’s and I made Europe sing my name for I ended up created a character that Never existed in the show, and that done by discipline and the love of art. Then dropped UMOJA after I lost my daughter in 2009, thoughts it’s time I work on my own music and sound. Then 2014 i dropped a house single. Sonata music is a sound I discovered as I was traveling and I took all the sounds I never heard and placed them in one. And the sound that came is sonata. I later 2018 dropped an album tittle 1841 with hip hop crew and was the merely vocalist. I love music & I can do anything for music. My foundation of gospel is clap and tap, I left it and followed my heart as I heard I sound RNB thought it’s best check out. I’d really love to be part of Joyous and share with the world what am blessed with. I’ve prayed for years to be part of Joyous and Now it’s my Time.
