About the Show:
BBC Studios and Post Production, the BBC’s commercial arm, provided help for Endemol production of Deal or No Deal. A historic Bristol paintworks factory and its accompanying warehouses served as the basis for the initial studio set for the show.
The competitor leading the game on that particular day, the other 21 contestants, the host (Stephen Mulhern for the ITV revival, replacing Noel Edmonds from the Channel 4 era), and the studio audience make up the participants in the game show. Edmonds frequently referred to the audience as “pilgrims” and encouraged them to weigh in on whether the contestant should “Deal or No Deal”.
ITV/STV executives declared in January 2024 that a second series of Deal or No Deal had been commissioned. Regarding the announcement, host Stephen Mulhern said, “I am ecstatic that Deal or No Deal is coming back to our screens.”
