About the Show:
On March 4, 2012, Canada’s Got Talent, a reality talent programme on television, had its premiere on the City Tv network. It is a component of the international Got Talent series.
Canada’s Got Talent 2025 Auditions Air Date Judges Contestant
The programme is an entertainment competition where performers from different genres vie for a prize. The inaugural season’s winner received a $100,000 reward, a Nissan GT-R, a chance to perform at City TV’s New Year’s Eve celebration, a chance to play a venue in Las Vegas, and a trip to Trinidad and Tobago.
The winner in seasons two and three took home a $150,000 cash prize. The monetary reward for the fourth season will climb to $1 million, as was revealed in the third season finale.
Canada’s Got Talent 2025 Air Date:
Canada’s Got Talent received a third renewal in May 2023, with a new season set to debut on March 19, 2024. It is the first known iteration of the Got Talent series to link a prize to the golden buzzer in addition to the privilege of advancing in the competition. Each winner will receive $25,000 in addition to the $1 million prize package.
Canada’s Got Talent Season 4 was aired in March 2024. The new season of Canada’s Got Talent 2025 Season 5 will be in March 2025.

Canada’s Got Talent 2025 Entry Criteria:
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Under-age candidates must submit undertakings under the parents or guardians.
- Candidates should have valid citizenship in Canada.
- Candidates must be physically and mentally fit.
- No Criminal background.
Canada’s Got Talent 2025 Host:
Lindsay Ell:
Born in Calgary, Alberta, on March 20, 1989, Lindsay Elizabeth Ell is a Canadian-American country pop singer, songwriter, guitarist, and television personality. Rock and blues themes can be heard in her music.
She signed with Stoney Creek Records, a US record label that is a division of Broken Bow Records. She has been hosting the resurrected reality television series Canada’s Got Talent since 2022.
Heart Theory, Ell’s fifth studio album, was released on August 14, 2020. It includes the hits “I Don’t Love You,” “Want Me Back,” and “Good on You.”
Ell will host the second season of Canada’s Got Talent, which premiered in 2022, it was revealed in October 2021. She co-hosted the 2021 Canadian Country Music Awards with Priyanka.
Ell left the BBR Music Group and Stoney Creek Records in 2023. She then made the single “Sweet Spot” available. She won “Single of the Year” at the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards with her song “Right on Time”.
Canada’s Got Talent 2025 Judges:
Howie Mandel:
Born in Canada on November 29, 1955, Howard Michael Mandel is a comedian, actor, producer, and television personality. He has served as a judge on Citytv Canada’s Got Talent since 2022 and NBC’s America’s Got Talent since 2010.
Deal or No Deal, an American game show that originated on NBC and then moved to CNBC, was hosted by him in addition to its daytime and Canadian-English versions.
Mandel served as executive producer of the TBS hidden-camera series Deal with It from 2013 to 2014. Together with main host Theo Von, he co-hosted the show and made frequent appearances
Mandel participated as “Rock Lobster” in season nine of The Masked Singer in 2023. He was eliminated as “Night Owl” on “ABBA Night” with Debbie Gibson.
Lilly Singh:
Born in Canada on September 26, 1988, Lilly Saini Singh works as a writer, comedian, television personality, actress, and YouTuber. She has won two Teen Choice Awards, a People’s Choice Award, four Streamy Awards, and an MTV Fandom Award. Singh is nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards and a Daytime Emmy Award.
She attended the Girl Guides of Canada’s youth programmes as a member. She earns a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University in Toronto.
Singh published her new novel, Be a Triangle, on April 6, 2022. Battle of the Generations, a new primetime quiz show on CTV, was announced to have Singh as its host in October 2022. The show debuted on June 19, 2023. Singh co-hosted the 95th Academy Awards pre show in March 2023.
In 2023, she developed and starred in the Mindful Adventures in Unicorn Island YouTube original series.

Trish Stratus:
Born on December 18, 1975, Patricia Anne Stratigeas is a Canadian professional wrestler, actress, and yoga instructor. She is more often known by her ring name, Trish Stratus.
Stratus, who is widely considered the best female wrestler in the promotion’s history, held the title for the longest period among women’s champions in the 21st century, with 448 days.
In Bail Enforcers, she played the lead part in her debut film. She used to own a yoga studio and has hosted several award presentations and television programmes. Stratus has been a judge on Canada’s Got Talent since 2022.
Stratus received the key to Niagara Falls from Jim Diodati, the mayor, on May 15, 2023. Stratus has been a judge on Canada’s Got Talent since March 2021, sharing the stage alongside Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, and Kardinal Offishall. It was then disclosed that the film was called Christmas in Rockwell, and she portrayed Alyssa Strader.
Kardinal Offishall:
Rapper Jason Drew Harrow, better known by his stage name Kardinal Offishall, was born in Canada on May 11, 1976. Harrow, a native of Toronto, founded the hip-hop group The Circle and got his start in the city’s underground hip-hop scene in the mid-1990s.
Although he left KonLive later that year, his 2010 single “Body Bounce” (with Akon) reached within the top 20 of the chart and was certified platinum
He had a cameo in the first episode of the sitcom Run the Burbs on CBC Television, playing a fictionalized version of himself.

- Access the official website of Canada’s Got Talent.
- Fill out the online application using a computer.
- If you are under eighteen, you must obtain your parent or guardian’s consent to apply; their signature and contact details are required.
- Fill out the online application with all the necessary details such as name, date of birth, address, email ID, contact number, occupation, photographs, and video.
- TWO images that are prepared for uploading using the application are: -one (1) person from your group (close up) with shoulders raised -one (1) full-length photo of you or your group (wide angle).
TWO videos:
- Submit a video (less than two minutes) of you or your group showing off your talent.
- Submit a brief (less than two minutes) introductory video as you or as the group representative.
- Give your name, age, and place of origin.
- Describe your gift and the duration of your performance.
