Lee Ricki Born in Melbourne on November 10, 1985, Dawn Coulter (sometimes going by Ricki-Lee) is an Australian singer, composer, and radio and television presenter. She was raised on Queensland’s Gold Coast after being born in Auckland, New Zealand.

Coulter joined Australia’s Got Talent as host in 2019. In September 2022, Coulter’s co-hosting role alongside Scott Tweedie for the Australian Idol revival on the Seven Network in 2023 was confirmed.

Ricki-Lee released “On My Own,” the lead single from her fifth studio album, in March 2023.

Scott Tweedie:

Australian producer, presenter, and television and radio host Scott Tweedie. He used to host on the E! Network when residing in the US. Tweedie worked as a reporter for Studio 10 and as a network host for Network 10, where she aired the popular music television show The Loop.

Tweedie took over as presenter of Australia’s Dancing with the Stars in 2019 after Grant Denyer was sidelined due to an injury. After eight years with Network 10, Tweedie revealed in November 2019 that he was leaving the network to take a new position abroad.

 

After several crew members tested positive for COVID-19, Tweedie returned to Network 10 in March 2022 to temporarily take Beau Ryan’s place as presenter of The Amazing Race Australia 6.

She also hosted the children’s show Prank Patrol on the ABC Me channel, which was formerly known as ABC3. Tweedie and Ricki Lee Coulter were confirmed as hosts of the Australian Idol revival in September 2022, which aired on the Seven Network in early 2023.

Kyle Sandilands:

Born on June 10, 1971, Kyle Dalton Sandilands is an Australian television personality, shock jock, and radio host. He co-hosts The Kyle and Jackie O Show, a weekday morning radio show on Sydney’s KIIS 106.5 radio station, with Jackie O.

 

With the return of Sandilands, Shark, and original Australian idol judge Marcia Hines as judges in 2024, Seven officially announced in October 2023 that the show would revert to its original three-judge format.

On March 16, 2011, Sandilands declared on his morning radio programme that he would not be participating in The X Factor’s third season as a judge. Mel B was put in his place.

Marcia Hines:

Born in America, Marcia Elaine Hines AM is an Australian singer and television personality. She was born on July 20, 1953. At sixteen, Hines made her stage debut in the Australian production of the musical Hair. She then played Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar.

With multiple hit singles, such as cover versions of “Fire and Rain,” “I Just Don’t Know What to Do with Myself,” “You,” and “Something’s Missing (In My Life),” as well as her Top Ten albums Marcia Shines, Shining, and Ladies and Gentlemen, she enjoyed her greatest commercial success as a recording artist in the late 1970s. In 1976, readers of TV Week chose Hines to be the “Queen of Pop” for three years in a row.

 

Hines will permanently replace Trainor when he returns to Australian Idol in 2024 as a key judge alongside returning judges Kyle Sandilands and Amy Shark.

Amy Shark:

Born on May 14, 1986, in Gold Coast, Queensland, Amy Louise Billings, better known by her stage name Amy Shark, is an Australian indie pop singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and songwriter.

Her 2016 single “Adore” debuted at number two on the Triple J Hottest 100 and at number three on the ARIA Singles Chart. In July 2018, her album Love Monster made its debut at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart.

After 29 nominations, Shark has won 8 ARIA Music Awards, including three occasions for Best Pop Release (for her extended play Night Thinker in 2017; Love Monster in 2018; and “Everybody Rise” in 2020).

From May to June 2022, Shark participated in the sixth season of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia, placing her in the top 4. In July 2022, the singer and R3HAB released “Sway My Way,” a cover of “Sway” by Bic Runga.

 

Her solo track “Only Wanna Be with You” was made available in October 2022. Shark served as a judge for both the 2024 season and the Australian Idol revival in 2023 on the Seven Network. Mid-November 2023 saw her support Coldplay’s concerts in Perth, Australia.
