About the Show:
A Canadian reality competition programme called The Amazing Race Canada is modelled after the American television programme The Amazing Race.
The Amazing Race Canada, produced by Insight Productions in collaboration with Bell Media and with assistance from Profiles Television, is a television programme that CTV has commissioned and aired.
Former Olympian Jon Montgomery anchors it. Nine seasons of the show have already been broadcast as of 2023, and a tenth season has been renewed.

Amazing Race Canada 2025-2026 Entry Criteria:
- To compete on the show, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with a valid passport.
- Candidates must be at least 19 years old by April 1, 2025-2026.
- You or your colleague must be able to endure the physical and mental rigors of the race.
- Have a valid Canadian driver’s license.
- Candidates must be willing to dedicate about 35 days to filming and traveling for the show.
- No Criminal Background.
- Candidates must be physically and mentally fit.

Jon Montgomery:
Born in Russell, Manitoba on May 6, 1979, Jonathan Riley “Jon” Montgomery is a Canadian skeleton racer and TV personality. In the men’s skeleton competition at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, he took home the gold medal.
The announcement that Montgomery will host The Amazing Race Canada on CTV was made on June 5, 2013. He has hosted every one of the show’s nine seasons as of September 2023. Montgomery attended the Canadian Automotive Institute, which is presently Georgian College’s Automotive Business School of Canada.

Amazing Race Canada 2025-2026 Teams: There must already be a relationship between teammates. Among the previous winners of The Amazing Race Canada are married couples, siblings, and best friends.
Every team is made up of two people who are related to one another in some way. The Amazing Race Canada has seen the participation of 91 teams, or 182 contestants.

Amazing Race Canada 2025-2026 Winner:
The show first aired in 2013 with the first season premiere airing on July 15, 2013, and ending on September 16, 2013.
Ty Smith and Kat Kastner from Calgary were the champions of season nine. They took home two 2023 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2s, a two-person international trip, and a $250,000 cash prize.
